Baeo in hiding

Love love love!
There are a few things that Braedon loves to do…
He loves to cuddle with his Charlie dog.
He doesn’t love it when she moves on him…
He loves to take awesome creations and destroy them in a matter of seconds.
He loves to play with the hose.
He doesn’t love it when he sprays himself in the face.
He loves to swim, whether it is in the lake or the swimming pool.
He doesn’t love getting in and out of the pool.
He loves playing with grandma and grandpa.
He loves chillin…
and swingin…
and he loves rolling and walking around topless.
This kid has the life…I wish I could walk around topless when it’s hot out and there’s no AC.

PH balanced for a child…strong enough for a Lacie
A while back Lacie bought a child swing for Braedon at a garage sale but it took us a while to hang it although we finally got it done on Sunday. Braedon, Liam, and Aiden all loved the swing (we didn’t get pictures on Sunday but the following picture from today gets the message across).
There were questions about the strength of the 4x12 beam that I hung it from as well the quite thick metal eye screws that I used…but Lacie decided that the kids shouldn’t have all of the fun and she proved that it can hold at least 100 lbs (we’ll withhold the actual weight from our blog or else I will likely get hit).
As a Fourth of July wrap-up:
- Megan makes a great apple pie (two varieties actually)
- USPS delivers presents from Amberly to Aiden and Liam faster than Derek
- Don’t always listen to the allrecipies.com reviews on food as doubling the chipotle peppers is not a good idea on the spicy chipotle turkey burgers
- Kettle BBQ chips should not be left on a table because they will be eaten (this also goes for Megan’s apple pie)
- Rainier Cherries are the best cherries but you should eat them in moderation…
- Jon likes to spread his love…he has riden all five motorcycles over the last two days

Imagine Children’s Museum
Yesterday we decided to take Braedon to the Children’s Museum in Everett, which was more like a Science Center for kids. When we walked in the door and saw all they had to offer, I may have squealed a little out of excitement. Yes, I was probably more excited than Braedon. We were there for a couple hours and still didn’t see everything. There is so much to do and see and Braedon had an absolute blast!
There was a tractor to play on and a horse to ride.
Ducks to look at and play a little hoop game with.
A black light room where you could play with different shapes and stuff.
Braedon also got to dig for dinosaur bones.
And play music..
He even drove a car and bus, which he loved.
Braedon also ran a bank…
made some money, and was head chef at a restaurant.
There was a tree house…
outdoor play equipment…
and a tower to walk up and look out over the city of Everett.
Braedon didn’t quite get the concept of using his eyes…
This place was awesome and I will be back many more times before we leave this summer. After the museum we came home to turkey!
Yes, there really was a turkey in our driveway. Very random, I know!
