Braedon has been cracking us up even more lately and I just wanted to document some of the funny/cute things he has said and done in the last few weeks.
He watches our every move and mimics a lot of what we say and do.
He calls my nursing pads boobies and in the morning when I am getting ready, he will get me a couple nursing pads and say, here you go mommy, here’s your boobies for your tummy.” I crack up every time.
Whenever I’m taking a drink of something, he tells me to use two hands. I wonder where he has heard that before.
I don’t dare sing out loud in the car or I will here, “don’t do that mommy,” from the backseat every time. Am I really that bad?
The other day he offered me a goldfish and I said, “no thank you.” He asked me what that meant and I explained to him that it is a polite way to say you don’t want something. That evening at dinner he was picking everything out from his plate and putting it on mine saying, “no thank you.” At least he used the meaning right.
It is so cute when he replies with, “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to do that after bumping into someone, or even when they bump into him. It is still cute, but not so funny when he hits his sister and then says, “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to do that.” Yeah right kid.
Derek took him to the dog park yesterday right after he woke up from his nap. They were barely down the street before he said, “daddy, I’m tired. I need to go to bed.”
Other things…
I think. Braedon wants it to snow. Or else he thinks that if he puts on all the gear, it might actually happen.
This is an easy way to keep an eye on both kids.
I can’t get enough of this girl!
This is the look I get when she thinks I’m funny.
