It is definitely summer here in the Pacific Northwest! We have been so lucky to have countless days of sun and temps in the 80s. So what have we been up to on our last summer before Braedon will be in school full time? Lots!! I have enjoyed this summer so much hanging out with my two little sidekicks:-) Things we've done that have totally made our summer?
-Preschool graduation!!! My baby is now a kindergartner. Sniff, sniff.
-Spent a hot and sunny day at the lake with some friends. Lots of swimming, splashing, chip eating, and boat riding!
-Visits from the ice cream man that ended with huge smiles and a whole lot of stickiness dripping down our chins and our elbows.
-Park play dates with our awesome friends.
-An awesome 4th of July that included our first block party with awesome neighbors, good food, and lots of fireworks.
-Countless afternoons playing in the kiddie pool, having water fights, and water sliding.
-A family reunion with lots of cousins, sleeping in a tent, S'mores, and more water fights.
-Adi's first wedding where she pretty much stocked the bride in her pretty dress and cried because she didn't catch the bouquet.
-Warm summer nights staying up way past bedtime, riding bikes in the street and playing with neighbor kids.
-BBQ'n on the weekends that always included delicious, sweet corn on the cob.
-Couch naps at 5 in the afternoon because playing all day is just so exhausting.
-Raspberry picking and spending the day at Remlinger Farms.
Things to still look forward to?
-Two more camping trips, one of which is at my all time favorite place...Banks Lake!!!
Now for some pictures.

FIVE years old!!!
Braedon turned five on Tuesday. FIVE!
Things that Braedon is loving at 5 years old...
-preschool
-playdates with his friends
-reading books and constantly learning
-writing us little notes
-playing with his cars/planes...still
-every color of the rainbow
-sweets!
-cuddling
-riding his bike and playing at the park
-hiking
Little Baeo never ceases to amaze me and has me smiling and laughing everyday. He is a big goofball and the biggest sweetheart. I'm a little sad that he is already off to kindergarten next year. Where has the time gone?
Braedon Jon, you are so loved and we are so blessed to have you for a son! Happy birthday my sweet, sweet boy!
And I'll leave you with a picture that pretty much sums up my kids...goofy, crazy, fun, and sometimes hot messes. Yeah girlfriend, I'm talking to you with your pants unbuttoned.

Easter...better late than never:)
I hope you all had a great Easter this year! We did. Friday, we went to Bao's class Easter egg decorating party. The kids had so much fun! On Saturday we took the kids to the community Easter egg hunt, and a bunch of Baeo's classmates were at that too:) It's so nice living in a close knit community where the kids can play outside of school too because everyone lives so close. We took lots of pictures at the Easter egg hunt, but that is where they stopped. I know, no pictures of Easter morning. Sorry! This year Derek created a scavenger hunt for the kids and hid their Easter baskets. They had to follow the clues that would eventually lead them to their treats. Braedon loved this! Adi didn't really care. After all, she had already been up before everyone else and went through all the easter eggs that were hidden around the house. I don't know how much candy was consumed before 7am, and I don't care to:) After our scavenger hunt, we had a leisurely morning followed by church and them home to hang out.
Okay, here are some pics! Waiting for the hunt to start. It was more like a mad dash to see how many eggs you could get in about a 30 second time span before they were all gone.
Loads of fun..
Lots of candy...
And a little hand holding...
This is Bao's good friend Kaitlyn. Since I train her mom, they have playdates about 4 times a week.
It's going to be sad next year when they won't even be going to the same school:(
This one is my fav:) So classic, the boy is screwing around and the girl is giving him "the look." Man, I didn't know it started so young.

A whole lot of Cuteness!
I'm back and this time with some pictures full of cuteness that would be my two kiddos. Yes, I know I'm biased:)
A few weeks ago we took advantage of a rare sunny day in Seattle and went to the zoo! This was probably the first time we went where Adi really got to enjoy it and loved seeing all the animals.
Braedon ran the St. Patty's day 1k for the second year in a row. Well, he was all ready to run it, until there was a little pile up at the start. Baeo was one of the kids to go down and it was meltdown city from then on.
These are the only pictures of him smiling. Poor guy. He ran it last year and loved it. Even this year he was one of the youngest kids in the race and obviously the bigger kids haven't learned about pacing themselves yet because once the gun goes off all hell breaks loose.
Adi was cool though. As long as their was popcorn.
Today we spent some time at the off leash dog park up in Edmonds. When Derek and I lived in Mill Creek we would venture there often with Peyton. That was before kids and now that I have been there with kids, it really is a great kid park too.
There are trees to climb.
Sand to play in, and water to get good and muddy!
There is also a playground near by, but I think the kids had the most fun climbing and playing on the logs.
Man I love these two!!!
