First of all, Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! We had a very nice Thanksgiving here at home with another couple and their little girl. I have also decided that I have a love/hate relationship with Thanksgiving. I just love watching the Macy’s Parade, listening to Christmas music and the smell of turkey in the oven. I love eating all the goodness that comes with Thanksgiving dinner but I hate how full it makes you feel! I feel like a blimp as I type. But a very happy blimp. I didn’t get any pictures of Thanksgiving but I do have some random pictures that I have taken over the course of the week.
Braedon has discovered light switches. Well, Derek helped him discover them and now he wants to turn them on and off. A couple of days ago Braedon decided to push a kitchen chair down the hallway and into our bedroom to do this.
Lights on.
Lights off. Over and over again.
He has also been helping dad with his emails.
He now knows how to open Derek’s laptop by himself, so the minute we leave the room Braedon is very quick to get over to Derek’s computer, open it up, and beat away on the keyboard.
He also knows he isn’t supposed to and when he sees that I see what he is doing, he will now shut it really quick.
Busted.
Or as Braedon would say…
Yeeeaaahh
One of Braedon’s favorite places to sit is here…
in the kitchen on the heater. Don’t worry, that heater doesn’t turn on and Braedon would be the first to let you know if it was, “ot.”
Braedon has also been loving cereal with banana for breakfast lately. Specifically Frosted Mini Wheats.
He apparently thinks he is a chipmunk. He will keep shoving mini wheats until he can’t possibly get anymore in his mouth, and then he will try to shove one more.
Braedon also likes to help around the house. Last Friday, which is laundry day, he pushed all the laundry baskets from the bedrooms to the door in the living room for me.
Now only if he would willingly put his blanket that he drags ALL THROUGH THE HOUSE and ends up in places that would make you cringe into the laundry basket without throwing a screaming fit.
